From a concept for the area to a substantiated first step

The project combines preservation of the monastery’s spiritual function, reception of pilgrims and tourists, local crafts, recreation in nature and social initiatives. The first stage proposes checking the source documents, available infrastructure and demand, then selecting a standalone pilot project.

Three candidate areas

Pilgrimage route and guest reception

Clarify the permitted route, visiting conditions, available accommodation and services. Prepare a visitor reception plan with an operator, costs and confirmed access.

Crafts and local programs

Agree on the participation of craftspeople and suppliers, the venue, activities, sales and payment procedures. Check demand and a separate budget for the pilot project.

Assessment of the rehabilitation concept

Determine the service profile, need and possible operator. This stage produces an assessment of further development; it does not include providing medical services.

What to prepare in 90 days

  1. By day 30 — assess information on the area, rights, authority and technical constraints.
  2. By day 60 — compare candidate pilot projects by readiness, demand, cost and manageability.
  3. By day 90 — review the selected pilot’s project brief, calculations and conditions; decide whether to continue, revise, postpone or stop.

The original concept dates from 2024. Its parameters and indicative costs require updating; they do not confirm that facilities or funding are available. SPECZASHCHITA is proposed as preparation coordinator once its authority has been agreed.
